Miss you Papaw <3 (1)

This past september my family and I had to go through something that was the most tragic thing in all our lives. My Papaw (mom's dad) passed away. We lost a grandfather, dad, and husband. I had never lost anyone that close to me before and when I found out that he was not doing well I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with it. But somehow my Papaw, being the amazing man that he was, did things without us even knowing before he passed that made things a little easier for us.
Papaw Jim had something put on his heart a couple years ago that helped regulate his heartbeats. It made him better at first but after a while he started to get even worse and soon got to the point that he could not do much more than sit in his recliner. This discouraged my Papaw incredibly because he has always been someone who loved to be up and doing things, especially playing his guitar. He was getting very frustrated with how dependent he had come and it got to the point that he realized that he did not want to live like that anymore. And without us knowing, he started making some changes that assure him his family would be taken care of after he passed. (Continue next post)
